The WHO have worked with the National Library of Medicine to create the Arabic interface to search MEDLINE and PUBMED in Arabic using the Arabic version of the Medical Subject Headings (MeSH).

They have translated the updated MeSH and made it available to the NLM to allow searching over 15 million records in Arabic in the same way as these records are searched in English, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Japanese, Chinese and Russian.

It is an achievement that we are all proud of.
